Piazza Pet of the Week

As one of the newest members of the Piazza Auto Group, Piazza Subaru of Limerick is proud to join the cause of homeless animal adoption.  If you aren't  already familiar, the PSPCA brings a cat or dog every Wednesday morning to the studio of Chris Stigall.  At 7:50am he introduces the animal to the listeners of his 1210-AM WPHT show. To adopt a pet, stop by one of the PSPCA locations.

Click on the video below to see Arrow! Pepper, Cocoa, Diva, and Iris are also still available for adoption!

Arrow is a friendly and social 2 year old Pittie Mix who came to the PSPCA as part of the Richard Lichter Charity for Dogs program. He was very skinny and needed the assistance of the shelter hospital to help him recover. Arrow is in the best shape of his short life and ready to find his forever family! He is the wiggliest dog on the planet, wagging his tail with his entire body. Arrow is a sweet guy and he hasn't met a person he doesn't like!
Cocoa is a youthful 7 year old Pittie Mix. She loves to take walks with her volunteer friends and play with her tennis balls at the shelter. Cocoa is really good at catching the balls, but not so good at giving them back. She has been in the shelter for a long time. She was adopted out for a few years and her family loved her. Unfortunately, they returned her when they moved away. Cocoa is dog selective and she would best fit in an adult household. The shelter trainers are working with her to not guard her food and toys, but she will require some additional training after adoption.
Diva is a sweet and happy adult Pit Bull. Her age is not known, but she was rescued by the Humane Law Enforcement Team. She was not in the best shape when she first arrived at the shelter, but she is recovering well and showing off her shining personality! Diva loves people! She simply likes to say hi to everyone! Come and give this girl a home!
 Remmy - Adopted!!
Remmy is a two year old Pittie Mix. She is happy and friendly and loves to meet new people. Remmy was found as a stray in the city and taken to the PSPCA. She has a lot of love to offer her future family! Come and meet this sweet and loving girl!
 Quicksilver - Adopted!!
Quicksilver is a 2 year old hound mix. He is the sweetest boy! Quicksilver is incredibly gentle and loves to cuddle up to his people! He takes treats very gently and knows many commands. He's a lovely, calm dog that will make a great addition to any lucky family! Quicksilver knows many tricks, including sit, shake and down. He is ready to find his forever family!!
 Butters - Adopted!!
Butters is a super sweet and social 7 year old Pittie Mix. He was first adopted from the PSPCA back in 2011, but recently returned due to his owner moving. Butters is very energetic for being 7. He loves to play and always has a smile on his face! Butters can get a little bit too excited, and for this reason he would best fit in a home with older children.
 Nova - Adopted!!
Nova is a 10 year old gray short-haired female cat. She is a super sweet senior and she has many fans at the shelter who want the best for her. Nova came to the PSPCA through the Humane Law Enforcement Department in December 2016. She just loves to be pet and hang around with her human friends. Nova and all cats/kittens will be $25 off adoption fees this weekend - Feb 4th and Feb 5th - to honor the fourth annual Kitten Bowl to support the shelters and adoption awareness!
 Skylar - Adopted!!
Skylar is a 1 year old Pittie Mix. She was abandoned at the shelter one night, in the hope that she would find a good home. Skylar is very energetic and playful. She likes to chase her toys. Skylar also loves to be pet and snuggling with you. As most young dogs do, she is in need of some training. Skylar is ready to find her forever family, is that with you?
Pepper is a 4 year old Pit Bull mix. She has a super chill personality. Pepper loves car rides, going for walks, and snuggles all the time. She should be the only pet in the home as she is not a fan of other dogs. Pepper is waiting on her forever family!
Iris has a bit of a sad story.  She was rescued in 2014 by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement and has remained at the shelter ever since.  We hope this platform brings her together with her forever family. Iris is full of energy and likes going on walks with her shelter friends. Iris would probably fit best in a home without other pets. Help us find this is shelter favorite her forever home.

Iris is part of the PSPCA's Lonely Hearts Club. As a long-term shelter resident, her adoption fee will be waived during the Lonely Hearts Club adoption event running Feb 12 - 18, 2017!
